Maybe you've been carrying something for a long time. A faith you can't let go of, and a sexuality that doesn't fit neatly into the answers your church gave you. Maybe you've felt like you had to choose between the two, or that there simply wasn't a place for someone like you.
You're not alone in that.
I'm a follower of Jesus, and I'm also someone who knows firsthand what it's like to sit with questions that don't have easy answers. Questions about identity, belonging, desire, and what it means to walk with God when the path isn't clearly marked.
Soulintension exists for LGBT people who are still reaching toward Jesus, even when the path isn't clear and the church hasn't always made it easy. A place where faith and honest questions can sit in the same room together.
This isn't a space that will tell you your sexuality makes you less loved by God. It's also not a space that'll hand you simple answers or pretend the hard questions aren't real. What it is, what I'm genuinely trying to offer, is honest conversation, real resources, and the kind of presence that makes a difficult road feel less lonely.
If you're gay, lesbian, bisexual, or questioning, and you're somewhere in the middle of figuring out what faith means for your life, I'd love to hear your story. No agenda. No pressure. Just a conversation.
Reach out. I'll listen.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4a note on where I'm coming from
I hold a traditional Christian view of sexual ethics, but I want to be upfront that this space isn't about convincing you of anything. I believe in the dignity and full humanity of every LGBT person, and I believe genuine trust has to come before any theological conversation. If you're curious about my perspective, I'm happy to share it. But it's never a condition of being here.
